What the surviving evidence establishes
Mårten Hagström spoke to PyroMusic’s Brendan Crabb about looking back on ObZen and beginning another writing cycle. Blabbermouth’s 12 February 2010 excerpts show a guitarist who was pleased with the record while still hearing details he might change with hindsight.
Unfinished ideas from those sessions were possible starting points, rather than a promised track list for the next album. Hagström said the band generally separated touring from writing and had not settled on one direction. He also described the physical adjustment required at the start of a tour, as performers learned to pace their effort. [1]
