What the surviving evidence establishes
Henkka Blacksmith spoke to Pyro on 12 September 2005 as Children of Bodom prepared for their first Australian visit. The bassist discussed Are You Dead Yet? and the work behind it: songs were put together from January, studio sessions began in May and recording was finished by early June.
He also described building a headlining set from new songs, material from Hate Crew Deathroll and older favourites. The conversation moved between the band’s unexpected Britney Spears cover, the energy of a live crowd and the change from summer festival weekends to promotion and rehearsals. These plans and expectations belong to the band’s 2005 touring period. [1]
What this record does not establish
Do not rehost a complete interview or recording merely because an archived copy survives.
Read the sources in context
The references identify the original page or a dated publication that attributes material to PyroMusic. A capture date is an archive observation, and a later news report has its own publication date; neither should silently replace the original interview date. [2]
