What the surviving evidence establishes
Goreripper spoke with Jason PC on 7 May 2007 about separating Blood Duster’s different musical interests into rock, grind and drone material. The interview explains why two parts were issued on discs while another was offered as a download: the format let listeners choose a side of the band without making them buy three separate records.
Jason also described an approach in which the band handled production, mixing, artwork, photographs and its website. The practical pressures of doing that work sit alongside the musical discussion. This recovered conversation gives the earlier scholarly citation a direct source, while preserving the distinction between a historical download offer and permission to redistribute the music now. What this record does not establish
The historical free-download statement is not a licence to rehost recordings today.
Read the sources in context
The references identify the original page or a dated publication that attributes material to PyroMusic. A capture date is an archive observation, and a later news report has its own publication date; neither should silently replace the original interview date. [2] [3]
