What the surviving evidence establishes
Joey Vera’s PyroMusic conversation caught Armored Saint preparing to record again. In excerpts published on 4 March 2009, the bassist described songs accumulated since the previous summer and roughly ten ready for recording, while explaining that the writing process was still continuing.
The interview also looked back at the band’s 2000 return and Revelation, placing its long gaps between records alongside the members’ other work. Vera’s comments about entering the studio were plans made in 2009. They should be read as part of that period’s recording story, rather than a fresh release announcement. [1]
