PYROMUSIC ORIGINAL AUDIO LABS These deterministic synthesized examples contain no samples from commercial or Creative Commons recordings. They illustrate limited variables, not a live guitarist or a production recommendation. Start at a comfortable playback level. ENVELOPE: 8 seconds; 16 equally spaced note attacks, every0.5s; 6 harmonics plus a quieter fifth. Two exponential decay constants,0.30s and0.055s. This isolates note-tail length; real palm muting also changes spectrum, contact noise and playing response. The example does not teach the hand position. RHYTHM: 8 seconds at120quarter-note pulses/minute. Each0.5s pulse contains2subdivisions in one file and3in the other. Low110Hzdecaying pulse is unchanged; click pitches mark subdivisions. There is no tempo change. BASS: 8 seconds; repeating bass pitches E1,E1,D1,C1. Compare the isolated synthetic bass pattern with the same pattern plus a fixed E2 guitar-like harmonic tone. These are oscillator parts, not actual instrument recordings. STEREO: 5 seconds. Identical220Hztone in both channels;440Hztone has opposite polarity between left and right. In the equal-sum mono file the440Hzcomponent cancels mathematically;220Hzremains. Ordinary hard panning does not imply cancellation. Listening in stereo usually needs headphones or separate speakers. Files: stereo22050Hz16-bitPCM WAV. Audio synthesis code is retained in scripts/create_audio_labs.py. Hashes and measured durations are in sites/pyromusic.net/audio-labs.json.
