Severed Fifth

Jono Bacon’s metal project, from the independently recorded debut to a fan-funded full-band album.

Our hosted records are Denied by Reign (2008) and Liberate (2012). Bacon’s own release catalogue lists the songs, performers, recording credits and Creative Commons terms. ^[1]

Two different recording settings

Denied by Reign provides an eight-track entry point into the project. Liberate is an eleven-track studio release with Jono Bacon, Jim Adams, Ben Gibbs and Ron Crockett, produced by Juan Urteaga. The earlier Nightmares By Design also appears in the musician’s catalogue; it is not part of our hosted collection.

Use the same playback volume when comparing the records. First note which song you heard, then separate an observation about the sound from a preference. The album pages list every hosted track and its individual duration.
