[08-02-2010] Prime Cuts giveaway
The friendly folks at Prime Cuts Music have been kind enough to give us two fantastic CD packs of assorted releases from their catalogue to give away to two lucky readers.
Included in the pack are the following-
Be'lakor- Stone's Reach. Atmospheric melodic death metal from Melbourne, with traces of black metal also injected into the mix.
Claim The Throne- Ale Tales. The latest effort from the Perth-based folk metallers. Perfect drinking music!
iNFeCTeD- Crawlspace. Recently reviewed by our very own Goreripper, this is a reissue of a "forgotten" classic from the Perth death metal act.
Cuntscrape- Papsmear Campaign. More porn-obsessed grindcore/death metal/rock from this Perth "supergroup". Not one to play around grandma, but a lot of fun all the same.
Dawn of Azazel- Relentless. More bruality from the Kiwi crew.
To be in the running to win one of the packs, simply e-mail your name and home city/town, as well as the name of your favourite Australian metal band to chinese_whispers_spiritech@yahoo.com.au by 6pm EDT (Eastern Daylight Time) on Sunday, February 14. Please, only one entry per person. Good luck!

[20-01-2010] Gigs, gigs and more gigs
We here at PyroMusic are seeking to keep our gig guide as up-to-date and informative as possible. If your band is playing a gig somewhere in the country and you want it included in the guide, let us know via a post or message on the PyroMusic Facebook page.
Please keep in mind that are our primary focus is on varying styles of metal and other heavy music (progressive rock, hard rock, hardcore, etc), so we'd rather you didn't flood us with your hip-hop crew's upcoming shows or something along those lines. We don't decry anyone enjoying other types of music (in fatc, completely the opposite) but please try and keep it appropriate to the site's typical content.
